Trinidad and Facundo

Trinidad and Facundo were both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since their childhood, their hearts have beat to the rhythm of the tango. They were raised from a very tender age to live and breathe the tango culture.

They met in La Boca in January 2004 where Trinidad and the Vivo Tango Orchestra were working on the street “Caminito.” Facundo gave them his resumee and the next day the two began to work together. Pictures from that time are sold as postcards in Buenos Aires, and the pair appears in magazines such as Travelers……as well as on television programs.
Trinidad and Facundo perform every night in the tango show “Candilejas.” In 2007, they were accepted to the Academy ACETA (Academy of Tango Style) which seeks to conserve the original tango styles among the younger generations.
Trinidad and Facundo are this new generacion! Together, the two study tango meticulously with the best professors. They also study music theory, ballet and native Argentine folk styles.
Independently, Facundo studies jazz and tap. He has participated in tango competitions, and in 1999 he won the silver medal in the Bonaerenses Championship.
For three years, Trinidad danced in the tango-ballet company Ballet Folklorico del Plata. In 2000, the company traveled to South Korea for an international folk dancing festival, and in 2001 they performed in Brazil. In 2004, she and Antonio Falcao traveled to Finland for a month to teach and dance the tango.

In 2005, Trinidad and Facundo traveled to Peru to promote Taca Airlines. They traveled in 2007 to Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile to perform at private parties.
Trinidad and Facundo invite us to know Buenos Aires through tango. During the three minutes of a song, one can travel back to the traditional Buenos Aires that is still alive in many hearts and minds. They dance with love, happiness and passion. They believe that tango is still alive because it conveys the deepest and the most basic human feelings: love, disaffection, absence, happiness and desire. Because of this, the tango will never die.
